Closet Co. is a digital wardrobe and AI-styling app. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and how you can delete it. In short: we collect what the app needs to work, we never sell your data, and you can erase your account and everything in it from inside the app.

1. What we collect

• Account. The app signs you in anonymously by default, with no name, email or password. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your name and email address from Google.
• Your closet. Photos and details (name, category, price, wear history) of items you add, plus outfits, capsules, moodboards and calendar entries you create. These are stored in your account.
• Your own photo (optional). Used only for AI try-on. It is kept on your device. When you generate a try-on, a temporary copy is uploaded to produce the result and is deleted from our servers immediately afterward. The resulting try-on image is saved to your account until you delete it.
• Fit profile and style answers (optional). Height, measurements, shoe size, fit preferences, style quiz answers and theme choices are stored on your device.
• Community posts. If you share an item to Community, its photo, your caption and a style tag are visible to other Closet Co. members. Posts do not display your name or email. You can delete your own posts, and you can report or block others.
• Location (optional). If you allow it, your approximate location is sent to Open-Meteo to fetch local weather for outfit suggestions. We do not store it.
• Usage and device data. We record actions you take in the app (such as screens viewed, items added, and purchase-screen interactions), along with your device model, OS version and app version, to understand what works and fix problems. This is tied to a random account ID, not your name.
• Links you paste. For "try on from a link," we fetch the public product page you provide to retrieve its photo and size chart.
• Waitlist. If you join our pre-launch waitlist on our website, we store your email address and referral code.

2. How we use it

To run the app's features (closet, outfit suggestions, try-on, community), keep your account working, prevent abuse, moderate community content, measure and improve the product, and communicate with you about your account or launch. We do not use your photos for advertising and we do not sell personal information.

Each provider processes data under its own terms. We share only what each needs for its task.

No-AI mode. If you choose "No AI" in the app, your photos and messages are not sent to Photoroom, Google Gemini or Replicate.

Other things we store. If you apply to the creator program we keep the handle, email, follower count and link you enter. Invite, referral and gift codes are stored with the account that made or used them.

4. Retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Account → Delete account. This permanently erases your closet, photos, outfits, community posts and all other account data from our systems. You can also delete individual items and posts at any time. Analytics events are kept in pseudonymous form and are not linked back to you once your account is deleted. You can also email us to request deletion.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK and California), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data and to object to certain processing. Use the in-app tools above or email support@getclosetco.com and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Children

Closet Co. is for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13; if you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete the account.

7. Security

Access controls restrict your photos and data to your account, and data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you share.

8. International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

9. Changes

If we make a material change, we will update the date above and notify you in the app.
